Can a Business Return to Five Stars After a Bad Review?
A perfect 5.0 is hard to hold once you have any volume, because a single 4-star already pulls a small profile below 5.0. Most excellent businesses sit at 4.7 to 4.9, not a flat 5.0.
If you have dropped, you can absolutely climb back toward the top of that band with steady genuine reviews. Chasing a literal 5.0 is usually the wrong goal, a high-4s rating with lots of recent reviews outperforms a fragile 5.0 with five reviews.
