Ranking is not just your star rating. A competitor with a 4.2 can outrank your 4.7 if they are closer to the searcher, have more reviews, more recent reviews, a more complete profile, or better-matched categories.

Proximity is powerful and outside your control, but review volume, recency and profile completeness are not. Keep reviews flowing and your profile tidy.
